Restoration

What do we do when we get your carburetor?

1. We check to be sure that your core is restorable. Deteriorated pot metal is usually not repairable. We then inspect it for any missing or damaged parts. Yucky little devil, isn't it?

2. Disassemble and again check for missing or damaged internal parts. Agitate in cleaner for at least 30 minutes. That sure makes it look better.

3. Bead blast to remove the oxidation and rust. Look how pretty it is now!

4. Recolor all pot metal parts to original color. Aluminum parts are dipped for protection but don't recolor. Lookin' good!

5. Zinc plate all steel parts and recolor for rust prevention. Just like new!

6. Reassemble with new needle valve, accelerator, gaskets, etc. Pre-set systems to factory specifications. Looks like a carb again but does it work?

7. Flow test and check for proper performance. Reset systems to factory specifications. Man, that's a real hummer.
